Entry Level Food Facility Processor
Mission Mountain Food Enterprise Center is looking for individuals with good work ethic who are looking to contributing to a productive work environment that is dedicated to creating positive change in our local and regional food systems.
We are a non-profit food processing facility that is focused on supporting our local food and agricultural communities. We work with food, beverage, and farming business clients who participate in a wide range of food related projects. The processing facility staff participates in activities from creating spice blends and smoking salmon, to building farm fresh food boxes for the community, and so much more.
Our food projects reach across Montana state and the northwestern region. The work we do contributes to various state, federal, and non-profit community assistance programs such as Farm to School, SNAP food assistance, and No Kid Hungry. Our team is proud of the work they do and we maintain a supportive and encouraging work atmosphere.
Available positions are entry level and do not require previous food experience, however, experience in the food industry is a plus. Fulltime, part-time, and on call positions are available, Monday –Friday. No weekend or night shifts. We offer a competitive starting wage of $12/hour, opportunity to advance, and benefits for fulltime employees that include health coverage, sick pay and paid leave.
