Pedal to Plate Toolkit Workshop
A Virtual Introduction to the
Pedal to Plate Toolkit
May 16th | 11am – 12pm | Online
Since 2017, a group of community members along with Mission West have brought cyclists from near and far together to celebrate local food at the Mission Mountain Area Pedal to Plate (MMAPP) ride. MMAPP is an approximately 40-mile annual bike tour that brings 150 riders from farm-to-farm to highlight the vibrant local food scene in the Mission Valley.
Modeling off the success of the event, we’ve created a how-to manual to assist other communities and organizations with planning and organizing pedal to plate events. In this workshop, creators of the “Planning & Organizing a Pedal to Plate Event Toolkit” will unveil their event planning manual to the public and introduce templates, resources, experience, and wisdom to guide you through coordinating and planning a pedal to plate event.
Attendance is free and includes a free digital copy of the toolkit. Click the button below for workshop registration.
