Celebrating 25 Years with 25 Success Stories
Shared goals and a shared vision were the inspiration for forming the Lake County Community Development Corporation in 1995. Three different organizations working on community development, affordable housing, and economic development in Polson, Ronan and St. Ignatius combined to become LCCDC, a nonprofit with a mission of enhancing the quality life and sustainable economic well-being of all residents of the communities we serve.
A lot has changed since we opened our doors 25 years ago in a small office in downtown Ronan. Our current office across the street from our original location covers a quarter of a city block and houses staff offices as well as a multi-use food processing, research and development facility. We’ve grown in size and in the scope of services offered, and now work with businesses and community development partners in three counties, and food and agriculture clients statewide.
One thing that hasn’t changed over the years is our commitment to supporting businesses and projects that make our community stronger, more prosperous, and a better place to live, work and raise a family. As we mark our 25th anniversary, we’ll be telling you about some of the clients we’ve worked with over the years. We’re proud of having a role in their success, and we’ll be sharing their stories with you.
