Built on Twenty-Five Years of Commitment
Mission West CDP was founded on the belief that vibrant rural communities don't happen by accident, they're built through sustained investment, strategic partnership, and a deep commitment to the people who live there.
For more than 25 years, we've worked alongside entrepreneurs, farmers, cooperatives, local governments, and community organizations across Lake, Sanders, and Mineral counties and the Flathead Indian Reservation to create the conditions for long-term economic health.
What makes our work different is integration. A business owner who comes to us for a loan might also benefit from the Mission Mountain Food Enterprise Center's processing capacity, the Cooperative Development Center's expertise in shared ownership, and the CED's connections to regional planning and tourism funding. We see the whole picture because we work across it every day.
Where We Work
Our programs and services reach across three counties and tribal lands in rural western Montana.
Lake County
Home to our headquarters in Ronan, Lake County is the heart of our service area. We work closely with businesses and communities along the Flathead Lake corridor, including Polson, Ronan, and St. Ignatius.
Sanders County
From Thompson Falls to Plains, Sanders County communities benefit from our business development, cooperative, and economic planning services across this largely rural, resource-based economy.
Mineral County
Serving communities including Superior and Alberton, our work in Mineral County focuses on business development, loan access, and economic opportunity in one of western Montana's smaller counties.
Flathead Indian Reservation
We serve tribal members and businesses on the Flathead Indian Reservation, working in partnership with tribal programs and supporting entrepreneurs and cooperatives throughout the reservation communities. The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes are the original stewards of this land, and our commitment to the reservation communities reflects twenty-five years of partnership and shared work.
