Part-Time Bookkeeper
Mission West CDP is hiring a part-time bookkeeper at our Ronan office. You'll organize and implement accounting systems that keep the organization compliant with state and federal grant requirements and ready for audit, working alongside our Financial Administrator to maintain sound fiscal procedures.
Full Position Details
Primary Responsibilities
- Accounts receivable invoicing, including grant draws and customer invoices
- Accounts payable invoice entry and payment processing
- Payroll, including time tracking and tax liabilities
- Banking, including reconciliation and deposits
- Compiling financial reports
- Additional bookkeeping duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma plus a degree in accounting, accounting technology, or bookkeeping
- Minimum five years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Working knowledge of nonprofit fund accounting
- Sage Intacct experience preferred
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
- Computer literacy with Windows, Excel, and fund accounting software
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
Schedule & Benefits
- Up to 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with evenings as needed
