About This Fund

Fund Overview

The Montana State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) is a state-administered participation lending program that works alongside your primary bank lender to fill the financing gap. The state provides up to 50% of the total loan amount at a below-market fixed rate, making deals possible that a bank alone cannot fully finance.

Unlike most loan programs, SSBCI is not limited to businesses that have been turned down by banks. It is designed as a true participation tool, working in partnership with your lender from the start. All Montana businesses, existing and new, are eligible across all industries.
