Where the Valley
Comes to the Table

Harvest on Main is Mission West CDP’s signature annual gathering, an evening that brings together the region’s farmers, food producers, chefs, and community members to celebrate the abundance of the Mission Valley and the people who grow it.

The event showcases locally grown and produced food prepared by regional chefs, with each dish telling the story of the farm or producer behind it. Guests connect directly with the farmers at their table, building the kind of relationships that strengthen the local food system year-round.

More than a dinner, Harvest on Main is a statement of values: that rural communities thrive when they know and invest in each other, and when they eat together.

What Makes
This Dinner Different

Every element of Harvest on Main is designed to close the distance between the land and the people who live on it.

Annual Harvest Celebration

Held every year in the summer or early fall, Harvest on Main marks the harvest season and celebrates another year of growing in the Mission Valley. Each year’s event features a unique menu crafted by regional chefs.

100% Local Producers

Every item on the menu comes from a farm, ranch, or food producer in our region. The event is a living showcase of what the Mission Valley grows, grains, vegetables, meat, dairy, and handcrafted food products.

Community at the Table

Guests sit with the farmers who grew their food. The evening builds lasting connections between producers and the broader community they feed, creating relationships that go well beyond a single dinner.

Our Story

A Tradition Built on
Twenty-Five Years

Mission West CDP has spent twenty-five years building the rural food economy of western Montana, supporting farmers, food businesses, cooperatives, and the shared infrastructure they depend on. Harvest on Main is the moment each year when that work comes together around a single table.

The event draws community members, business leaders, elected officials, and regional stakeholders who share a commitment to the economic and cultural future of the Mission Valley. It’s a fundraiser, a celebration, and a reminder of why this work matters.

Each year’s event features live music, stories from the farmers and producers, and a program that highlights the year’s work and the community’s progress. Tickets typically sell out, subscribe to be notified when they’re available.
