About Board Service

Governance That
Actually Matters

Mission West CDP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit governed by a volunteer board of directors drawn from across our service area. Board members set organizational direction, ensure fiduciary responsibility, and bring community knowledge and professional expertise that helps us serve rural western Montana more effectively.

This is meaningful work. Our board shapes funding priorities, approves loan portfolios, oversees strategic planning, and provides accountability for a $6 million loan portfolio and multiple federal program contracts. Members serve three-year terms and meet regularly throughout the year, in person in Ronan and by video when needed.

We're not recruiting for a specific vacancy. We believe in building a pipeline of engaged, informed community members who are ready to serve when the opportunity arises. If you're connected to our region and care about its future, we'd love to hear from you.
