Tyler Leslie had the eye. She could walk into someone’s closet and see what was missing, what didn’t fit, what was holding them back from feeling like themselves. Friends and family had been asking for her help for years. She knew the talent was real. Turning it into a business was a different challenge.
In 2025, Tyler connected with Mission West’s Business Development Center to get serious about the business side. Working with our technical assistance team, she built a formal business plan that mapped her services, pricing model, and target market. She developed a marketing plan to reach clients across Lake County and beyond. And she invested in a professional website to present the brand the way she saw it in her head: polished, welcoming, and built around confidence.
Tyler’s Styling Studio launched in Polson offering personal styling, wardrobe consulting, closet edits, color analysis, and personal shopping. Her signature Polson Transformation package gives clients a full wardrobe overhaul, from color analysis through closet edit and curated shopping. She works with clients across all ages, body types, and budgets, meeting people where they are and helping them reconnect with what feels authentic.
The business plan gave her clarity. The marketing plan gave her reach. The website gave her credibility. Within months of launch, Tyler had paying clients, repeat bookings, and a growing referral network. She built a real business around something she’d always been good at, and she did it on her own terms.
